L’Hotel è situato nel centro di Locarno sulla splendida Piazza Grande. Oltre l’albergo, per rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole, offre una romantica atmosfera con musica dal vivo in piazza o (nei mesi freddi) nel grotto “Caverna degli dei”, caratteristica sala a volta del VII secolo. Nella splendida terrazza o nel ristorante si respira uno stile familiare e caloroso, tipicamente ticinese. A seconda del tempo si può pranzare all’aperto sulla terrazza o in una delle sale da pranzo. Agli ospiti sono proposte specialità mediterranee, internazionali e svizzere, così come prelibatezze di stagione e piatti più elaborati per i buongustai che vogliono togliersi un capriccio, come il famoso “black-rock” (carne o pesce cotte su pietra vulcanica ad altissima temperatura). Le specialità includono i migliori piatti della cucina ticinese. Il tutto accompagnato da una vasta scelta di vini, da gustare anche nell’enoteca ospitata in una sala a volte del 1300. Nella “Sala degli Artisti” si è invece trasportati nel meraviglioso mondo delle star del cinema e durante l’annuale Film Festival di Locarno, si può anche avere la fortuna di incontrare di persona le star.

On the beautiful terrace or in the restaurant the atmoshpere is stylish, familiar and typical. Depending on the weather you can dine outside on the terrace or in one of the dining rooms. Guests are offered Mediterranean specialties, international and Swiss dishes, as well as seasonal delicacies and gourmet dishes for food lovers, such as the famous “black rock” (meat or fish cooked on a volcanic stone at very high temperatures). Specialties include the best dishes from Ticino and excellent pizzas. All this is accompanied by a wide range of wines which can be enjoyed in a separate room dating back in 1300. In the “Hall of the Artists” you are transported into the wonderful world of movie stars and during the annual Festival del film Locarno, you can also have the chance to meet the stars in person.
