L&#8217;albergo \u00e8 stato costruito negli anni 1955-56 e nel 2002-03 \u00e8 stato ristrutturato e ampliato, dagli architetti Michele e Francesco Bardelli di Locarno, prestando particolare attenzione agli aspetti ambientali.<br \/>\nAl pianterreno un bar aperto dalle 9.00 e un ristorante-pizzeria che propone piatti imperniati sulla cucina naturale con prodotti possibilmente della regione e provenienti da colture biologiche. Particolare attenzione viene inoltre assegnata alla cucina vegetariana. Vi proponiamo prodotti freschi provenienti da colture biologiche e regionali, in parte coltivate nel proprio orto. Poniamo inoltre particolare attenzione alla cucina vegetariana e alle paste casalinghe, che sono preparate principalmente con cereali integrali, macinati al momento per mantenerne il gusto e garantirne la genuinit\u00e0. Regolarmente offriamo sulla nostra carta anche piatti etnici provenienti da culture gastronomiche lontane come l&#8217;India o il Medio Oriente. Gli ospiti che hanno allergie o intolleranze alimentari trovano nella nostra offerta culinaria \u201cpane per i loro denti\u201d: a richiesta prepariamo pietanze per vari tipi di diete: senza lattosio o glutine e naturalmente pietanze per gli ospiti che prediligono la cucina vegana.<br \/>\nFacciamo parte di \u201cFourchette Verte\u201d, un marchio di qualit\u00e0 nutrizionale che, nell&#8217; ambito della promozione della salute e della prevenzione di alcune malattie (alcuni tipi di tumore, disturbi cardio-vascolari, obesit\u00e0), concilia piacere e salute.
